PhD (Human Ecology), MFA (Dramatic Arts)
What I Do
I study human behavior both as a behavioral scientist and as a theater artist. My interest in the psychological and socio-political effects of physical practices and life choices is both theoretically and practically driven. While my practices as anthropologist and theater artist are often pursued independently, I also straddle boundaries of investigation and seek to bring into conversation modes of knowledge construction that are usually isolated from each other, reconciling or at least colliding practices from science, art, and activism.
