Adam Boyette, PhD, has been working with the Bondongo and Ba Yaka of DR Congo for many years, documenting the agricultural and immediate return hunter gatherer communities and their interconnections.
Richard, a Bondongo man wears a head-mounted gopro camera which photographs what he is seeing as he goes about his day. Here, Richard has climbed 10 meters up into a palm tree where he has created a place where the “sap” of the palm tree collects and ferments, creating palm wine, which he is now returning to harvest.
